In 2005, Gutsche launched Trend Hunter, an online trend community comprised of a global network of several thousand contributors that identify emerging micro-trends. These micro-trends are then published for an audience of several million monthly views, which provide the data for Trend Hunter’s research. Categories include: pop culture, design, technology, fashion and art. In 2011, Trend Hunter celebrated 500,000,000 total page views.
Prior to launching Trend Hunter, Gutsche was a management consultant with the Monitor Group and was Director of Upmarket for Capital One in Canada. He holds an MBA from Queen’s University, studied innovation at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, graduated from University of Calgary with a BCom in Finance (With Distinction) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
