Anne Mulcahy is the former CEO and Chairwoman of Xerox Corporation. She has been widely credited with transforming Xerox, where she served as CEO for nearly a decade. She was the first woman CEO in the company’s history and most recently served as chairman. She stepped down from this role and from the Xerox Board in 2010. Ms. Mulcahy joined Xerox as a Field Sales Representative in 1976 and rose through the ranks during her career there. From 1992-1995, she was Vice President for Human Resources. Then she served as Vice President and Staff Officer for Customer Operations, covering South America and Central America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and China. Ms. Mulcahy became Chief Staff Officer in 1997 and Corporate Senior Vice President in 1998. She is currently a Board Director of Johnson & Johnson, Target Corporation, The Washington Post Company and Chair of the Board of Trustees for Save the Children.
